Volunteer Opportunities in Slovenia With Visa Sponsorship 2024

Slovenia, nestled in the heart of Europe, offers a unique opportunity for volunteers to immerse themselves in sustainable living practices while contributing to a transformative experience.

Discovering Slovenia: A Glimpse into Volunteer Opportunities

Slovenia, a country known for its stunning landscapes and commitment to sustainability, welcomes volunteers to participate in the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) activity. This initiative, hosted on a sustainable farm, allows volunteers to engage in practical activities that promote low environmental footprints in rural life.

Activity Description: Embracing Sustainability on the Farm

1. Practical Exposure:

Volunteers will actively participate in various activities, primarily focusing on permacultural farming, natural construction, community living, social permaculture, social entrepreneurship, energy resources, water cycle management, and natural cosmetics.

2. Schedule:

The daily schedule spans seven hours, from 8 am to 4 pm, with a one-hour break. Activities include cooking and cleaning, fostering a sense of community among volunteers. The evenings are dedicated to free time for rest, connection, walks, and relaxation.

3. Accommodation, Food, and Transport:

  • Food: Vegetarian meals prepared collectively, utilizing local and ecological produce whenever possible.
  • Accommodation: Simple yet pleasant shared tents with provided mats and extra blankets. Dry, compost toilets, and solar showers ensure an eco-friendly experience.
  • Transport: Covered expenses for food, accommodation, and traveling (based on distance) are included.
